Safety Policy:

And the general public. Safety is in everyone’s job descriptions. No safety program can be effective unless each employee does his/her part to contribute.   • It is the policy of (A.R.C.C) to provide, so far as is reasonably practical’s, safe method of work, safe working condition and a healthy environment assessing the risks inherent in the design, planning and implementation process to:
  • Provide health and safety arrangements including planning organization leadership control, monitoring review and reporting.
  • Ensure, so far as is reasonably practical, co- ordination and exchange of information between subcontractors and all other parties involved in projects its control.
  • All health and safety training or information as may be necessary to personnel at all levels, having regarded to risk assessment and individual capabilities.
  • Establish emergency and other procedures for serious and imminent danger including arrangement when working in dangerous areas.
  • Provide all health surveillances where required by legislation.
  • Provide and personnel involved in company activities with health and safety assistance.
  • Provide and display this policy and safe such written instructions as necessary to assist in the regulation of health and safe practices and operations.
  • Establish means of consultation on health and safety matters for all employees.
  • Encourage and promote personal responsibility and effort on the part of all employees to avoid and prevent health hazards and injuries to themselves and others

Review this policy at 12-month intervals. Whilst at work there is a legal duty of each and every employee, to take reasonable care for the health and safety of himself and of all other persons who may be affected by his acts or omissions, and to co-operate with the company and its safety advisors in any way necessary to enable the company to perform and comply with any duty or requirement under the various regulations affecting health, safety and welfare. This will include the correct use of personal protective equipment and the safe and proper handling and use of materials and equipment together with the prompt reporting of any defects or safety hazards discovered.

 
Safety programs:
  1. Review programs as developed by each of the subcontractors. Make recommendations and require each subcontractor to such programs.
  2. Scope changes: estimate the cost of all change orders and other changes and process pertaining to the work of the individual subcontractors.
Post Logistic services:

Subsequent to occupying, A.R.C.C evaluates the process and the results during the Logistic process, our post logistic department makes certain all projects are “closed –out thoroughly and completely. We place a high value on customer satisfaction and have established the following procedures to ensure we perform to the highest standards of the industry and advocate the best interests of our client.


Quality Control Plan Purpose:

The purpose of this is to prepare the guidelines to establish a quality control and reporting systems, which complies with the requirement of the contract documents. With this plan Afghan Relief construction (A.R.C.C) will provide the necessary inspection and testing procedure to ensure the job is performed according to the contract drawing and specification. All necessary tests and inspection of the work including those of suppliers and subcontractors, shall be conducted in order to ensure compliance with applicable specification and drawing. The main purpose of this quality control plan is. To produce and product that meets the requirement of the contract plan and specification.

To evaluate and inspect materials methods of workmanship and to review details to ensure that the work to be accomplished will meet this requirement. To establish and maintain a quality control that will continuously verify that quality wok, as required by the contract documents, is being accomplished strive for a zero Defect operation as a company. To address non-conformances to implement appropriate corrective action necessary to correct the defect.

To complete the job in a safe and timely manner.


A.1.Revision and distribution

The QC plan shall be revised by the QCSM then any change occur. This will ensure that the plan is current during the life of the project. A copy would be kept in office by the QCSM and he will make sure that the site QC has a current copy in the field office, QCSM is responsible for updating and revising of the plan and replacing the field copies with revised copy.

A.R.C.C Quality control Department is established for every project undertake. This department will ensure that the work performed conforms to contract requirement and materials defects minimized or design defect eliminated during the life of the contract. The name and qualification of inspection personnel to be used and their responsibilities’ will be designed. each appointed QC engineer and teaching shall be adequately competent and authorities and their respective QC functions are as follow:


B.1. Quality Control System Manager (QCSM)

ARC QCSM will coordination his work with the project manager and with directly report to project manager and company managing board.

He will assure review and, coordinate submittals and monitor approvals for ARC .he shall ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications. He shall report the progress of construction to the project manager and clients.

He shall take all immediate actions concerning quality discrepancies. this corrective action shall be explained and coordinate his staff so that they implement the three- phase inspection system for al aspect of the work specified the achieve high quality work.

He shall substantiate the quality of materials and workmanship be inspection and review procurement document to ensure the incorporation of the quality control measure of the specification haven incorporated.

QC inspector shall be assigned to the project to timely ensure quality of the products and maintain continuous inspections of all phases of construction .inspectors shall daily report of any quality control efforts and results to QCSM.


B.2 submittal preparation and reporting section

This section shall be responsible from preparing and scheduling submittals. it is QCSM responsibility to inspect the submittals to ensure that they meet contract requirements The required certificates shall be as to accuracy and conformance with their respective specification and drawings. Subcontractor submittals is also gathered and organized by this section. Subcontractor and suppliers shall be instructed on how to supply the necessary data and information for the required submittals. A quality control represented shall be assigned for the purpose of controlling the quality of their work.
